About Us

Skip is actively sought out as a featured speaker on hoof trimming and other hoof topics. He’s consulted and taught trimming techniques on several large farms throughout the US and has even traveled twice to Turkey.

Skip is an active member of The Hoof Trimmers Association: setting up and manning the booth at World Dairy Expo, serving on the board of directors and contributing numerous articles to the association’s newsletter. Some his articles have also appeared in Progressive Dairyman. He’s also hosted several hoof trimming clinics and has been in charge of the Wisconsin Getaway, the second largest hoof trimming conference in the US. Skip is a 30 plus year member in the Masonic Lodge and is also involved in the Baraboo Theatre Guild, Shrine and the American Legion. Additionally, he served 15 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Skip lives in Baraboo with his wife Anne and daughter Maria

Education: BS Biology UW­LaCrosse, International Hooftrimming School Numerous military schools including: Engineer Officer Advanced Course, Infantry Advanced, Armor Basic, OCS and Air Assault.
